The Cameroon national football team completed the contract for African seats in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, after its valuable and dramatic victory (2-1) over its Algerian host on Tuesday evening in the second leg of the final round of World Cup qualifiers.
The Algerian team defeated its Cameroonian counterpart 1-0 in the first leg last Friday, while the Cameroonian team defeated its Algerian host in the second leg, to qualify the Cameroonian team with a legal goal after the two teams tied (2-2) in the two matches.
The Cameroon national team settled the original time in the second leg in his favor with a clean goal scored by Eric Maxime Choupo-Moting in the 22nd minute, but Ahmed Touba scored the equalizer for the hosts in the 118th minute after the two teams resorted to extra time, before Karl Oko Ekambi scored the winning goal and qualified for Cameroon in the fourth minute From overtime to the second overtime period.
