British intelligence: Russia may be losing momentum in Bakhmut

    Wednesday – 29 Shaaban 1444 AH – March 22, 2023 AD

    London: «Asharq Al-Awsat»

British military intelligence said today, Wednesday, that there is a possibility that the Russian attack on the town of Bakhmut is starting to lose the limited momentum it had gained.

The Defense Ministry wrote on Twitter in a daily bulletin that this might happen due to “the redeployment of some units of the Russian Defense Ministry to other sectors” of the front.

Yesterday, Tuesday, Ukrainian forces repelled Russian attempts to advance to the center of the small city of Bakhmut, in the east of the country.
