They hit an exciting date in the final of the Saudi Super Cup «Sunday»

Al-Ittihad and Al-Fayhaa teams hit an exciting date in the Saudi Super Final (next Sunday), after eliminating the first to Al-Nasr 3/1 and the second to Al-Hilal 1/0 in the semi-finals of the tournament, which took place in its new form yesterday at King Fahd International Stadium and Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in Riyadh.

Al-Ittihad won the El Clasico challenge, which it collected with victory under the leadership of Portuguese legend Ronaldo, at a large crowd, which crowded the stands of Al-Durra Stadium.

Al-Ittihad team continued its dominance in its direct confrontations with Al-Nasr, and repeated its supremacy once again with three Brazilian Romarenho, Moroccan Abdel-Razzak Hamdallah and Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti, while Brazilian Talisca scored an honorary goal for Al-Nasr.

Before the match, the fans painted a wonderful painting in the stands, in the presence of a large audience from both sides, so that each team’s typo appeared in a distinctive way.

In Al-Ittihad, the Portuguese Nuno Santo gave up the services of Helder Costa in exchange for his use of the services of Henrique in the middle of the field, in search of a defensive balance for the team looking for a first title in the championship.

As for the victory, it dealt with the absence of Ospina, the goalkeeper, who was injured by contracting with Argentine Rossi, to participate in the match from its inception, with the return of Gustavo Lopez, amid the absence of the duo Conan and Alvaro in defense.

Al-Nasr began pressing and searching for an early goal amidst Al-Ittihad’s remarkable steadfastness, a few minutes until Al-Ittihad launched a counterattack amid perfect transfers of the ball between Hamdallah and Al-Aboud.

Al-Nasr launched a major attack in search of an adjustment to the result, but Al-Ittihad continued its advantage by taking possession of the ball and tactical organization, to come out before the end of the first half with a second goal scored by Moroccan Abdel-Razzaq Hamdallah with a perfect header with the 44th minute.

Al-Nasr coach Rudi Garcia made three substitutions with the start of the second half: Abdul Rahman Gharib, Abdul Majeed Al-Salihim and Konan, instead of Martinez, Al-Naji and Mado.

The continuous yellow pressure succeeded in a first visit to the Al-Ittihad net through the Brazilian Talisca, who translated a cross into the net of his compatriot Grohe with the 67th minute. But Al-Ittihad player Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti fired a coup de grace at the yellow net after scoring the third goal in the third minute of stoppage time after a powerful shot that failed. Al-Nasr goalkeeper tackled it, after receiving a pass from a rebound led by Brazilian Romarenho.

In the other match at Al-Malaz Stadium, Al-Hilal, who is playing in the Club World Cup a few days later, started the match looking for an early goal and quickly settled the match, and continued to pressure the Al-Fayhaa goal, whose players sought to absorb the blue attack and calm the game, in repeated attempts that did not succeed.

Al-Fayhaa quickly snatched an early goal through Brazilian player Paulinho after a wrong pass from Mohamed Kno in the middle of the field. Victor Ruiz snatched it and advanced it close to Al-Hilal’s goal, passing the ball towards Brazilian Paulinho, who succeeded in overtaking the Korean Jiang and hit a powerful ball that hit Abdullah Al-Mayouf’s net.

And it was only a few minutes until Al-Hilal got a penalty kick in favor of the player Abdullah Al-Hamdan. Salem Al-Dosari advanced to it and played it, hitting the post, and the Serbian goalkeeper Vladimir Al-Fayhaa pushed it away.

With the start of the second half of the match, Diaz made a change by abandoning Mohamed Kno in the middle of the field and throwing in Mali Musa Mariga, in search of an offensive effectiveness for his team to return to the match.

And Al-Hilal continued to put great pressure on Al-Fayhaa’s goal, who was able to read his opponent and stood as an impenetrable dam against all blue attempts. Diaz threw Vito and Michael cards at the expense of the duo Abdullah Al-Hamdan and Saleh Al-Shehri, but all the changes did not make a significant change in the level of Al-Hilal’s play, which excelled. control but without gravity.
