After failing as a player… Koller dreams of leading Al-Ahly to victory over “Real”

Al-Ahly coach Marcel Kohler dreams of succeeding in leading his Egyptian club to victory over giants Real Madrid, in the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup, after he failed to achieve this as a player.
Al-Ahly achieved its second successive victory in the World Cup in Morocco, after Mohamed Magdi (Qafsha) scored the 1-0 goal near the end of the match against the American Seattle Sounders, to qualify to face the European champion on Wednesday.
“It is a great feeling and a great situation to play against a big team like Real Madrid,” Koller said through an interpreter, in statements broadcast by the club’s channel, on Saturday. I played against him as a player and I hope the result of the next match will be different from the result I achieved as a player.”
Koller played two matches with Swiss Grasshoppers against Real Madrid in the 1995-1996 European Champions League, losing both times 2-0.
The Swiss coach said, “We have to prepare for the match… and face Real Madrid, and then think about the future.”
Al-Ahly will appear in the semi-finals of the Club World Cup for the fifth time, and it has previously achieved third place 3 times, the last of which was in the last edition.
Al-Ahly is participating in the World Cup for the eighth time in its history.
In the other match before the World Cup final, Al Hilal Saudi Arabia, the representative of Asia, will play against Flamengo, the Brazilian champion of South America.
