    As of Thursday, the eighth of Dhul-Hijjah, about one million pilgrims begin a journey of faith inside the holy sites, lasting 6 days, for the Hajj this year 1443 AH, after most of them performed the “Wednesday” tawaf of arrival in preparation for the escalation of the night in Mina to spend the day of Tarwiyah in the year’s The honorable Prophet, then they are escalated to the shrine of Arafat to stand on its pure level, throughout Friday, the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah.

    Last Sunday, the Saudi Minister of Interior and head of the Supreme Hajj Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, had taken note of the readiness of the Hajj security forces to carry out their tasks in maintaining the security and safety of pilgrims during his sponsorship of the ceremony organized by the Hajj security forces participating in the event. Hajj season this year.

    While the competent authorities for Hajj, from all the legal, health, security, service and environmental sectors, prepared early to receive the pilgrims. In this context, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif Al Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, visited the ministry’s headquarters in Mina, to find out the latest preparations and equipment to receive pilgrims before they come to spend the day of perfusion, and he looked at the various departments, including the call booths. The mechanism of receiving calls via the free phone designated for pilgrims, the mechanism of the automatic response service for fatwas, the work of translators, and the progress of advocacy and guidance programs through modern technologies provided by the ministry, throughout the Hajj season, with the participation of a number of scholars and preachers.

    Lieutenant-General Muhammad Al-Basami, Director of Public Security and Head of the Security Committee for Hajj, said yesterday, in a press conference, that the general plan for the tasks and responsibilities of public security included intensifying the field security presence, to ensure the speedy monitoring of all types of security cases and observations and rapid response with appropriate measures regarding them, and taking All preventive measures to prevent crime, and to combat pickpocketing, and any negative phenomena that affect the security and safety of pilgrims.

    Al-Basami announced the seizure of 63 fake campaigns across the Kingdom, and 288 citizens and residents in violation of the Hajj regulations, and the penalties prescribed for them were applied at “10,000” riyals. And 2,062 violators of the residency system were arrested, who were planning to perform Hajj in an irregular manner, while nearly 100,000 residents who did not obtain the necessary permits to enter Makkah were returned, and nearly 70,000 violating and unauthorized cars were returned, transporting workers and unauthorized pilgrims. They are allowed.

    For its part, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah recently launched an awareness campaign under the slogan “Hajj begins with you” as an extension of the ongoing efforts to intensify its awareness activities, for this season, and published a video clip in 7 languages ​​on its social media platforms, with the aim of clarifying a number of instructions related to the personal uses and general behaviors of the pilgrim. During his journey to perform the rituals, it also launched 13 detailed awareness guides in 14 languages, in partnership with the Awqaf Authority, to facilitate the pilgrim’s journey, including all the stages that the pilgrim goes through while performing the rituals.

    The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah also received 185 pilgrims from the program of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, who came through King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.

    The program aims this year to enable representatives of countries working in the Islamic Military Alliance Center to Combat Terrorism, coming from 41 countries, and a group of families of martyrs and victims of terrorist operations from 8 countries, to perform Hajj for this year 1443.

    While the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has provided 250 spray fans to cool the atmosphere in the Grand Mosque and its courtyards, so that pilgrims can enjoy performing their rituals with ease and ease. These fans cool the air using “spray air cooling” technology by absorbing thermal energy from the outside air to reduce its temperature.

    The National Center for Monitoring Environmental Compliance has also published 9 advanced digital, fixed and mobile monitoring stations in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and the Holy Sites, to measure indicators, under the supervision of specialized national competencies. Mina observatory, the location of the Arafa observatory, and the fixed stations at Al-Haram, Al-Aziziya, Al-Otaiba, Al-Shawqiah, Al-Shari` and Al-Umrah.

    Hygienically, the Ministry of Health provided its medical and treatment services to more than 49,4 thousand pilgrims from the first day of the month of Dhul-Qa’dah, until “Wednesday” through hospitals and health centers in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Arafat, Muzdalifah, Madinah, Jeddah and Taif.

    And “Wednesday” announced the completion of the arrival of the pilgrims benefiting from the Makkah Route initiative, coming from the initiative halls in the airports of Indonesia, Pakistan, Malaysia, Morocco and Bangladesh, after the arrival of the pilgrims of the Republic of Bangladesh. Partners.

    The teams implementing the initiative, which was launched by the Saudi Ministry of Interior within the program to serve the guests of Rahman, one of the programs of Vision 2030, made great efforts in completing the procedures for pilgrims who benefit from their countries, starting with issuing the visa electronically and taking the vital characteristics, and passing through the completion of passport procedures at the airport of the country of departure after verification From the availability of health requirements, in addition to coding and sorting luggage, according to transportation and housing arrangements in Saudi Arabia.

    Upon their arrival at the King Abdulaziz International Airports in Jeddah and Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International in Madinah, the beneficiaries of the Makkah Road initiative received care and attention. It has allocated paths for them to go directly to buses to take them to their places of residence in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, while the service authorities shall deliver their belongings to their homes.

    The ministries of Foreign Affairs, Hajj and Umrah, Health, the Hajj Service Program, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), the General Authority of Civil Aviation, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, the General Directorate of Passports, and Elm Company contributed to the success of the implementation of the initiative.

    As part of its readiness to transport hundreds of thousands of pilgrims, the Saudi Railways (SAR) has successfully completed the preparatory operation stages for the Holy Sites train, before the actual operation of the Hajj season for the year 1443 AH, which will begin on Thursday (the day of Tarwiyah) with the start of transporting pilgrims from Mina to Arafat.

    During the past months, SAR conducted maintenance and testing operations for the readiness of trains and stations, and worked to implement the highest safety and quality standards to ensure the operation of the train between its nine stations distributed among the holy sites, which are three, including Arafat, Muzdalifah, and Mina. Its last stop reaches the fourth floor of the Jamarat Bridge.
