We have to recover the confidence of the Brazilian in the vaccines, says the director of SBIm

The National Immunization Day is commemorated on June 9.

“We have to recover the confidence that we had 30, 40 years ago, coming from the confidence of the institutions, our governors and healthcare professionals”, he said.

The specialist defends that all these actors, during the Covid-19 pandemic, are somewhat politicized to the detriment of what science advocates.

“We still haven’t been able to reverse it, we have to recover that value, the Brazilian never asked where the vaccine was from, what technology, and it was still immunized.”

For Juarez, I need information, both for professionals and for society; and communication, with disclosure and publicity pieces.

“We have safe, effective and free vaccines, we have to take our children to be vaccinated, and all the age faixas too”, he completed.

At the same time, he reinforces that “the value of vaccines is impressive, with the eradication of diseases, as well as the elimination and control of many others.”

“We have a marvelous calendar, which especially protects the children, who are the most vulnerable”, he reinforced.
