The Minister of Social Development, Wellington Dias, said, in an interview with CNN in this quinta-feira (23), which the government estimates the possibility of 5.5 million irregular people not receiving the Single Cadastro or Bolsa Família.
The minister explained that, for the benefit to be distributed again, the federal government will update the Single Cadastro.
“We will have more or less 12 thousand people working, on the one hand, with an active search for people on the road, who live in the forests, in quilombos and in coastal communities so that these people can go directly to Bolsa Família. On the other hand, guarantee the updating of the Cadastro [de pessoas que já estão na plataforma]”, I affirmed.
At the end of February, Dias announced that 1.5 million Brazilians will be excluded from Bolsa Família, because they will be receiving irregular benefits. This name is the process of “first cam” of updating.
