This fifth fair (8) marks the International Day of Pansexuality.
A sexual orientation, according to the psychologist and founder of Rainbow Psychology Hamilton Kida, says respect to “people who like people.”
In interview with CNN Radionot CNN No Plural +, he affirmed that this means that they are individuals who do not relate sexuality to attraction.
Ou seja, people who “are attracted to others regardless of sexuality, without labeling the other’s sexuality to relate, considering, for example, affinities.”
In Kida’s evaluation, Pansexuality “is more active because of the militancy”, which works to “deconstruct sexuality as something binary.”
He recalled that in the Old City people were “related without classifying sexuality as something determining.”
With the rise of the Roman Empire and the expansion of Christianity, therefore, Hamilton affirmed that the binary discourse, from or relating to the opposite gender, or as the same, gained strength.
The specialist pointed out that pansexuals are preconceived, generally, because they say that they are indecisive and are “dubious” about what they like, and that they will decide at some point.
“Sexual orientation is not a choice, and it is a second preconception”, he classified.
