Transition to the new fiscal remuneration must compensate for the loss in the areas of health and education, says Haddad

The Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, stated at this terça-feira (21) that the new fiscal remuneration must have a transition remuneration to recover losses in the health and education areas resulting from these two expenses.

“Health and education will lose resources with the return of the breast. As a new fiscal arcabouço will turn, we have to think about a transition law. To make up for your losses”, said the minister.

According to the minister, the Constitution provides that the approval of the supplementary law deactivates the regra of all expenses, not being necessary a new amendment.

Haddad also stressed that any decision on the subject will only be disclosed after the trip of the Brazilian delegation to China, scheduled to take place between the 25th and 31st of this month. Second, the proposal must be submitted by April 15.

The minister also justified that the extension of the disclosure of the new tax does not harm the schedule established by the federal government for the processing of the proposal. “The return will be presented after the president authorizes it, which must happen after the trip to China, because he wanted it to be available, after disclosure, to society and to the press.”
