Ship afunda no RJ; 2 dead and 6 people are missing

A ship anchored on the afternoon of this Sunday (5), in Baía de Guanabara, near Ilha de Paquetá, in Rio de Janeiro.

According to the Corpo de Bombeiros Militar do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, there were 14 people on board the boat. Dessas, six were sailed by third parties and headed for the CER da Ilha do Governador (two women, two men and two children).

Just a second the bombeiros, two people were found lifeless during the searches, being a woman and a man. Six people are still missing.

The firefighters will inform you even if the call for the occurrence occurred at 5:05 p.m. Guarda-vidas e mergulhadores da corporação atuam nas busca pelas vitimas, con apoio de launches, jet skis, boats and aircrafts.

In November 2022, a ship collided with the Rio-Niterói bridge and closed to cause the interdiction of the road in both directions.
