Republicans of the Chamber investigate payments from a Chinese company to Biden’s family

The Republicans of the House Oversight Committee, in the United States, will release a new memorandum on the fifth fair (16) informing that members of President Joe Biden’s family receive little more than US$ 1 million indirectly from a Chinese company – more recently disclosure of the committee in its investigation into the businesses of the Biden family.

The memorandum, which the representatives of the White House and the legal team of Hunter Biden – son of the American president – quickly rejected, did not provide any evidence linking the payments directly to President Joe Biden, that the Republicans claimed to be the target of his investigation.

The memorandum names Hallie Biden, the surviving son of President Beau Biden, as a previously unknown recipient of payments from Biden family associate John Robinson Walker, who transferred money to members of the Biden family after receiving US$3 million of a company headquartered in China.

Hallie Biden and Hunter Biden, or Joe Biden’s newest son, were romantically involved for a period after Beau Biden’s death.

The House Oversight Committee discreetly informed Bank of America of the financial records of three Hunter Biden associates, including Walker, on February 27, which was how they obtained these records.

“It is not clear what services are provided to obtain this exorbitant amount of money,” said the president of the Republican Oversight Committee, James Comer, in a statement.

Comer told Sean Hannity, from Fox News, at the fifth fair, that the committee plans to close additional bank records.

“We will do everything that is within our reach to follow all the bank’s leads,” said Comer.

Comer requested that Walker sit down for a transcribed interview, according to a letter obtained by CNN at the sixth fair.

TO CNN I contacted Walker for comment.

The Republicans affirm that these transactions raise questions about foreign influence on the Biden family, but there is still no conclusive evidence that Joe Biden was involved in his son’s negotiations and there is no indication that he has abused his powers in public office to Help your family get money.

President Biden has never denied any involvement in the business of his foreign son.

A spokesperson for the legal team of Hunter Biden negotiated the memorandum.

“Here we go again as the deputy Comer hits something old and tries to make it new, getting involved in a conspiracy of direct savagery and without foundation”, said the spokesperson.

“Hunter Biden, a private city fully entitled to pursue its own business ventures, joined several business partners in search of a consortium with a legitimate privately owned energy company in China. As part of this consortium, Hunter received his share of two boa-fé initial estates that he shared with his uncle, James Biden, and Hallie Biden, with whom he was involved at the time, and dividing the expenses.

Senate Republicans, in 2020, detailed for the first time how Walker made wire transfers for Hunter Biden and the president’s brother, James, after receiving a transfer of US$3 million from the Shanghai-based company, State Energy HK Limited .

The House Republican Party compiled the memorandum after receiving bank records from a Biden family associate as a result of a tip in their investigation.

Earlier this week, Comer revealed some discoveries, saying that a third member of the Biden family had been identified as part of two non-foreign family businesses, in apparent reference to Hallie Biden. Hallie Biden received two separate payments from Walker totaling US$35,000 in 2017, according to a memorandum, plus only one of these parcels came after Walker received the telegram from the Chinese company, disseramán várias sources com conhecimento das transações à CNN.

The spokesperson for Casa Branca, Ian Sams, accused Comer of deciding to “go back” to the life of Beau Biden.

“Instead of bizarrely attacking the president’s family, perhaps the House Republicans should focus on working with the president to deliver results for American families in important priorities, such as reducing costs and strengthening the health system,” said Sams.

The memo still reveals that Walker and his company Robinson Walker, LLC received a transfer of US$3 million from a Chinese company in March 2017 and then transferred approximately US$1,065,692 to various bank accounts associated with members of the Biden family for a period of time. period of three months.

The document also attempted to raise questions about an electronic transfer that Hunter Biden received when Joe Biden was vice president. According to the memorandum, Walker received a transfer of US$179,836.86 from a company with a foreign bank account in November 2015, transferred US$59,900 of this money to one of his personal checking accounts and sent Hunter Biden the same amount.

The memorandum also referred to a bank account identified only as “Biden” that also received electronic transfers, which the Republican party promised to investigate further.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Hunter Biden’s legal team said: “The accounts are dramatically listed by Deputy Comer belong to Hunter, his uncle and Hallie, and no one else.”

In response to the fifth-fair memo, Democratic House of Representatives Jamie Raskin of Maryland raised questions about why Comer will not investigate foreign influence in the Trump government.

He said in a statement sent to CNN: “The memorandum from President Comer proved once again that, after four years of investigations by the Senate and two House Republicans on Hunter Biden, they found no connection with the president of the United States or, de facto, with any government official .”

Raskin disclosed the intimations for the first time earlier this week and raised questions about his wide scope, but did not mention Walker’s payments to the Biden family.

“They meddle in the private details of Mr. Walker’s and his family’s finances: how much he pays for his son’s dance classes, when he is in the hospital, how many parking tickets he paid, how many times he eats at Papa John’s or He drinks coffee at Starbucks and how much he spends shopping at Safeway,” he wrote on Sunday.
