The government leader in the National Congress, Senator Randolfe Rodrigues (Rede-AP), took the cell phone from the hand of youtuber Wilker Leão, or the same that, in August of last year, called the then President of the Republic, Jair Bolsonaro (PL), from “tchutchuca do centrão”.
The event involving Randolfe occurred during a disagreement between the two of them in front of the elevators of annex 1 of the Senate in this fifth fair (2).
In a corridor leading to the place where the confusion occurred, while walking, Leão questions Randolfe about a project authored by the senator who, according to him, seeks to “criminalize or harass politicians”.
The senator denies that it is his responsibility and criticism or terrorism, citing the criminal acts of January 8. They talk to each other about politics without exaltations and Randolfe explains what he defends.
When we take the elevators that lift the cabinets in two annexes of the Congress, Randolfe enters one, but, given the continuity of the youtuber’s questions, he leaves the space to see that Leão also intended to go up with him.
A security that serves for the Senate bar or youtuber, that does not have identification of the House, second or own.
When Randolfe is leaving the elevator, Leão says “let’s finish here so people can ask some questions” to which Randolfe also says “people, let’s finish”, “let me finish here”, and then puts the hand on his cell phone. Leão.
The images published by youtuber do not show exactly what happens in the following moments.
However, in a video recorded after the episode, Leão said that a woman returned her cell phone a few minutes later. The youtuber still affirmed that the wristband of the watch was damaged in the confusion.
After the episode, Leão said that he was not certain if Randolfe would be himself or the author of the alleged text on political harassment. “No time is still [de confirmar].”
The text to which it refers is PL 2864/2022, authored by Randolfe. Among other points, the project proposes that eventual conviction for “harassing someone publicly, in a violent or humiliating way, rewarded for political, partisan or ideological nonconformity” can result in detention of 1 to 4 years, plus a fine. The text was presented by the senator in November of last year and withdrawn at his own request in the beginning of December.
In two parking lots of the Senate, close to where the discussion took place inside the House, there was more confusion between Leão and legislative police. Filming dinner, the youtuber catches two policemen running, but when he is surrounded by agents with electroshock weapons in their hands. He was taken to the legislative police to provide clarification.
On Twitter, in this sixth (3), in response to a criticism from digital influencer Felipe Neto about the episode, Randolfe wrote that “I’m not proud of what I was, but everything is limited and we all have ruinous days.”
“Every day I am attacked by digital and physical militias that threaten and harass my family. I ended up acting like a human being. Unfortunately, the fact happened and I made a quest not to keep myself wrong, ”he completed.
On August 18 of last year, Leão Ficou was known for calling the then President Bolsonaro of “tchutchuca do centrão” in the outing of Palácio da Alvorada. At the time, Bolsonaro tried to take the youtuber’s cell phone after being offended and called “tchutchuca do Centrão”, “coward” and “vagabundo”.
