PSG announces departure of Lionel Messi at the end of the season

The Paris Saint-Germain announced today in its social networks the departure of the Argentine Lionel Messi. The captain of the Argentine team and world champion in Qatar will not renew his contract with the French team. Messi played two seasons for PSG after leaving Barcelona.

“After two seasons in the capital, the adventure between Leo Messi and Paris Saint-Germain will end at the end of the 2022-23 fiscal year. The Club wishes, with certain emotion, many more successes for Leo for the rest of his career”, wrote the French club.
