New phase of Operation Lesa Pátria turns on man who taught guerrilla tactics in QG of the Army

The Federal Police arrested, at this fifth fair (23), a man suspected of inciting anti-democratic acts on January 8, when the headquarters of the Three Powers in Brasília were vandalized. It is the 9th phase of Operation Lesa Pátria.

Second to PF, the man is suspected, too, of being two administrators of two resources that financed the years, a kind of treasury, which collected funds and made a “caixinha”.

The investigations of the PF suggest, still, that the prisoner would teach guerrilla tactics to the participants of the camp located in the QG of the Army, in Brasília. The preventive prison was in Riacho Fundo (DF), 23 km away from Esplanada dos Ministérios.

The Operação Lesa Pátria, second to PF, has the objective of identifying and arresting people who participated, financed, omitted and promoted the events that occurred on 8/1, in Brasília, when the Palácio do Planalto, the National Congress and the Federal Supreme Court They were invaded by individuals who promoted violence and widespread damage against the assets, assets and objects of the Institutions.

The investigated facts constitute, in these, the crimes of violent abolition of the Democratic State of Law, coup d’état, qualified damage, criminal association, incitement to crime, destruction and deterioration or disablement of bem specially protected.

The PF says that the investigations are ongoing and the Operation Lesa Pátria is permanent, with periodic updates on the number of judicial warrants issued, people captured and outlaws.
