Meta says that it will reactivate Donald Trump’s accounts on Facebook and Instagram

A Meta has announced this fourth fair (25) that it will reactivate the accounts of former United States President Donald Trump on Facebook and Instagram in the coming weeks, a little more than two years after suspending it after the attack on the Capitol.

“As such, we will be restoring Mr. Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts in the coming weeks. No meanwhile, we are doing isso with new degrees of protection to determine recurrences, ”he added.

With his accounts reactivated, Trump will once again have access to huge and powerful communication platforms and fundraising the moment he plans his third candidacy for the White House.

A decision, which we see after a move similar to Twitter, can also change ainda more or scenario of how a long list of minor online platforms behave in relation to the ex-president’s accounts.

Twitter restored his account in November, after his acquisition by billionaire Elon Musk, but the former president still did not use it again, choosing to remain on his own social media platform, Truth Social.

But the Trump campaign sent a letter to Meta at the beginning of this month asking the company to unlock its Facebook account, using a familiar source as required CNNmaking his return more likely.

It is not immediately clear if Trump will take advantage of the opportunity to return to the Meta platforms. Representatives will not immediately respond to requests for comment.
