Senator Mara Gabrilli announced her departure from the Brazilian Social Democracy Party (PSDB) after 19 years. The announcement was made this Sunday (29) on Twitter.
Mara will join the Social Democratic Party, of the state secretary of the São Paulo Government, Gilberto Kassab.
In the postage, a parliamentary appears in the photo next to Senator José Serra (PSDB-SP) and Kassab. She thanked Serra for opening the political doors to her. “Serra and @gilbertokassab are the biggest promoters of minha trajectory”.
The senator still says that she is grateful to the PSDB for the PSD, encouraging her to continue working for the country.
Also on Twitter, Kassab affirmed that the PSD commemorates the loss of the senator. “My friend and two great names of our politics. Much obliged, @joseserra_, and be very well, Mara ”, she posted.
With the rejection of Mara Gabrilli and Eliziane Gama, who must leave the Cidadania, the PSD will become the largest party in the Senate, with 15 members, in front of the PL, with 13 parliamentarians.
