The president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) participated in a ceremony to present the Cup of the Women’s World Cup, at the Palácio do Alvorada, in the morning of this fifth fair (30).

At the ceremony, which was also attended by the Minister of Sports, Ana Moser, the First Lady Janja da Silva and the President of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), Ednaldo Rodrigues, Lula signed a decree to encourage the development of professional women’s football and lover not country.

The 2023 Women’s World Cup will take place between July 20 and August 20 in Australia and New Zealand.
