The Federal Justice of the Federal District determined the blockade of 40 prisoners in flagrante depredation of two properties in Praça dos Três Poderes, in Brasília, on January 8. The action is processed in law enforcement.
In the decision, the federal judge Francisco Alexandre Ribeiro affirmed that the Union together with the process copies two prison sentences and acknowledges the existence of “strong indications that the aforementioned prisoners have participated in two acts and anti-democratic demonstrations that culminated in the invasion and massive depredation of the headquarters you officiate two Three Powers of the Republic”.
“Reason because it is absolutely plausible to these of the Union that they will agree to achieve two huge damages to public property, being passive, therefore, it gives enough civil responsibility,” said the magistrate.
Last week, the AGU had already requested or blocked people from suspects of financing or transporting two criminals. Now, there are 92 people and seven companies with assets blocked for financing or participating in two undemocratic acts.
The third request for the blockade of bens moved by the AGU, which was proposed on the sixth fair (27), encompasses another 42 prisoners in flagrante, still awaits the analysis of Justice.
As a result, the AGU defends that all those involved, be they financiers or predators, must respond jointly and severally for damage caused to public property – which at the time is estimated at R$ 18.5 million. At least R$ 4.3 million only in vehicles of people and companies involved have not been blocked.
The amount must be used to repair damages caused by depredation of public property in case of subsequent conviction. Furthermore, AGU may request an increase in the value to be blocked to the extent that the accounting of two prejudices, which has not yet been concluded, advances.
