The annual rate of consumer inflation (CPI, for the acronym in English) of Germany slowed to 7.4% in March, compared to 8.7% in February, according to preliminary data released in this fifth fair (30) by Destatis, as it is known to the country’s statistics agency.
The result, however, is above the expectations of analysts consulted by The Wall Street Journal, which previously recorded 7.2% this month. In the monthly comparison, the German CPI rose 0.8% in March. Also in this case, or consensus wsj it was a minor discharge, 0.6%.
