The closure of the collection of information in the field and of the 2022 Census analysis ends this Sunday (28). The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) announced that the final data on the Brazilian population will be released on June 28.
In participating in a meeting with demographers and statisticians from Brazil and several other countries, last week, the interim president of the institute, Cimar Azeredo, admitted mistakes and successes since the beginning of the Census, on August 1 of last year.
More, he cited as positive the use of technology and as well-succeeded the mobilization actions, such as the Favela on the Map and the Condominium on the Map, calling on the residents of those areas to answer the questionnaires and that they would help to reduce by at least 4.5% to Recuse the population to the Census.
