O Coldplay raised, this Saturday (18), the drums of the Faculdade de Direito of the University of São Paulo (USP) to play the music “Biutyful”, in their last performance after a series of shows at the Morumbi stadium.
Chris Martin, vocalist of the band, had met with the group on Sunday (12) in Campo do XI, located near Parque do Ibirapuera, in the southern area of the capital of São Paulo. He was accompanied by Phil Harvey, his artistic director.

On the occasion, Kauê Oliveira, master of the São Francisco Agrave Instrument Battery (BAISF), told that it was difficult to prove that it was happening at the moment.
“I was crazy. People were finishing the rehearsal and I saw a face talking with me. I tied me up scared. I thought he would complain about something and he falou ‘olha, I’m here as the vocalist of Coldplay, he wanted to listen to you playing a little bit, maybe?’”.
“Eu falei ‘people, I’m glad Coldplay is here.’ When I said that and the words came out of my mouth, I don’t believe it, I didn’t understand anything, I couldn’t reason and I was only able to understand when Chris really got out of the car and went there to see people”, he explains.
Oliveira recounts that the artist converted with the students, mentioned that he listened to the batucadas in Parque Ibirapuera and decided to find out where he came from, since he was very curious and would like to see BAISF play.
“People touched him for a few minutes, he was watching, they danced a little and parabenized us. He said that it was very legal and asked a few people, ”he said.
The world tour “Music Of The Spheres” continues now for Curitiba and Rio de Janeiro, which is with exhausted income.
