Bolsonaro’s ex-woman loses Brazilian nationality

Former wife of Jair Bolsonaro, lawyer Ana Cristina Siqueira Valle lost her Brazilian nationality.

The decision was published at this terça-feira (7), in the “Diário Oficial da União”, at the portaria do Ministério da Justiça.

To Jair Renan’s mother, son of the ex-president, acquired Norwegian nationality in 2011, for living in the European country after or term with Bolsonaro.

According to the Ministry of Justice, after being voluntarily naturalized Norwegian, Ana Cristina did not meet the requirements set forth in the Federal Constitution.

“The national legal system admits that Brazilians have dual or multiple nationalities as soon as another nationality passes from birth in foreign territory, of foreign descent or of naturalization by imposition,” he explained to pasta.

Ana Cristina was chef of the cabinet of the vereador Carlos Bolsonaro (Republicans-RJ) between 2001 and 2008. She was a candidate for district deputy in 2022, but she was not elected.

After the choices, she returned to live in Norway. She is being investigated by the Public Ministry of Rio de Janeiro for an alleged scheme of rachadinhas in Rio de Janeiro.
