Biden commemorates approval of the suspension of the law that divides the United States and says that “crisis was avoided”

The president of the United States, Joe Biden, will come to this sixth fair (2) the approval of the suspension of the decree of the division of the government by Congress. In a speech broadcast directly from Salão Oval, in Casa Branca, the democrat affirmed that a “crisis was avoided”.

The bipartisan agreement was canceled by the Senate on the night of this fifth fair (1st) and headed for presidential sanction. The day before, the Câmara dos Deputados had already approved the suspension of the decree of the division until January 1, 2025.

In his pronouncement, Biden affirmed that he will sanction the text this Saturday (3).

“We avoided an economic crisis and an economic collapse. (…) If we failed, we would have brought America to a historical heat and nothing would be more irresponsible, more catastrophic”, said the president of the USA.

“Our economy would have entered a recession; 8 million Americans would lose their jobs. A heat would destroy the credit note of our nation, or that would leave everything, mortgages and car financing to the more expensive government financing custodial.”

Biden also thanked and highlighted the alliance between Democrats and Republicans in the race for the approval of the bill that will allow the revision of the ordinal text.

“When I ran for President, I said that the days of bipartisanship were over, and Democrats and Republicans were no longer capable of working together,” he said.
