I couldn’t help myself, I said: “I would go, but fight…” But this, obviously, fell on deaf ears“, says the burnt-out mother.

According to her, other minibus passengers ignored the driver’s rudeness and did not make any remarks to him.

“And it affected me. It affected me very much… My heart was crushed, and my brain was filled with an unpatriotic thought: “What did you give your life for, son? For this bastard?”…

What about me? I paid the money for the trip. But as it came out, I decided to take a photo as a memory. Because this disdain was not only about me…

I have such an incident for the first time. However, I have observed many cases of drivers insulting people of retirement age. It is wrong. This is not your own transport, uncle driving! Once the state introduced the benefit into the legislative norm, then implement it! You are at work.

I confess that only because of this contempt I never ride a minibus as a pensioner. I only get my ticket on the trolleybus.

The certificate of the mother of the deceased is another new, recently issued benefit. It would be better not to have her. And my child was alive. But it is. So it happened. And we cannot change anything.

So, forgetful or maybe just ignorant man behind the wheel, know that there are indeed many of us! But how dare you insult me ​​just because I showed you my discount ticket when I entered the salon?

Listen. My son died in battle as a Hero. He will never get behind the wheel like you. He will not be able to raise his son. He will not be able to support his mother either. So that’s why the state introduced this benefit, so that you do it. For the fact that you are alive and can live, work, drive a car, breathe, hug your wife, love your children – for that alone. It’s a lot, believe me. So be human. Be a citizen of a country that pays such a high price for your life every day. And don’t you dare! Do you hear! Don’t you dare!”– the mother of the fallen Hero emotionally addressed the rude driver.

The scandalous driver is called “on the carpet” to the authorities

“There are no words in this world to apologize to such people. I warned carriers about transportation and service provision, this is the second incident while I am the head of the transport commission. How to deal with such inhumans. There will be more.”– said city council member Kateryna Marchuk.

It should be noted that Lyudmila Marchuk’s son – Bohdan Gordiychuk – died on January 4, 2023. He and his comrades were returning from an operation in the Kharkiv Region, a few kilometers from the Russian border. Their car ran into a mine. Bohdan fought in the ATO, and on the first day of the full-scale invasion, he returned to the army. He is survived by a seven-year-old son.
