Now sellers will not be able to mark a product with a special label, the price of which was first inflated and then artificially reduced.
“If the seller did not overprice before the sale, the discount will appear in the product card. If the discount does not pass the test, the notification about it (red label) will not be shown to the user,” the company’s press service said.
They also noted that next to each discount there will be a verification sign and an indication of how much the price has decreased. In total, the sample now contains information on more than 730 million products from different stores and marketplaces, Yandex added.
On September 8, Yandex completed the acquisition of the Delivery Club food delivery service. Earlier, Yandex agreed with O2O Holding, which belonged to VK, to exchange Zen and News services for Delivery Club.
