Woman in serious condition after being run over in S. Pedro da Cova

A 62-year-old woman was run over, this Tuesday, in S. Pedro da Cova. The victim was taken to Hospital de Santo António, in Porto, with serious injuries.

According to JN, the hit-and-run took place on Rua Rio Ferreira, around 11 am.

The victim was reportedly hit by a light vehicle when he was crossing the street, having suffered injuries considered to be very serious.

The woman was assisted on site by the VMER of Gondomar and by elements of the Volunteer Firefighters of S. Pedro da Cova, having been transported to the Hospital of Santo António, in Porto.

The Fânzeres GNR was on site and took care of the occurrence.
