    The 9th meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine in the Rammstein format will continue today.

    On February 14, the 9th meeting of partners in the format “Rammstein“. During the second day of negotiations, February 15, attention is focused on tanks for Ukraine.

    This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov.

    The minister stated that the first day of work in Brussels is over. Reznikov thanked all international partners for supporting Ukraine.

    “The first day of work in Brussels is over. I am grateful to all the countries participating in the Rammstein format and the North Atlantic Alliance for supporting Ukraine. Tomorrow (February 15) the program is just as busy. We will devote more time to tanks. Everything will be Ukraine!” – he wrote

    We will remind you that the ninth meeting in the Rammstein format started in Brussels on February 14. The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, stated at the end of the meeting that he is “very pleased” with the results.

    The head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, said that Italy and France would hand over New SAMP/T air defense systems for Ukraine.

    Also Austin listed the countries that have started preparations for the transfer of Leopard 2 battle tanks to Ukraine or have promised to provide them.

    Separately, Greece allocated ammunition and 20 BMP-1 armored fighting vehicles to Ukraine.

    Norway also announced that it will transfer eight Leopard 2 tanks and up to four special purpose tanks to Ukraine.

    President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, commenting on the results of “Ramshtain”, drew attention to the fact that not everything can be reported publicly. He added that on this day at the meeting it was said – Ukraine must be successful.
