Klitschko called on the citizens of Kyiv not to neglect their own safety, because the probability of air attacks is very high.

As a result of falling fragments of a downed Russian drone in the Holosiivskyi district four people were injured, one died. The woman went out on the balcony to watch the drone being shot down and received a fatal fragment.

About this told Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko, who visited the 24-story building in the Holosiivskyi district, which was hit by fragments of a Russian drone at night.

According to him, a fire broke out due to debris hitting the building’s housing, and the apartments on the upper floors were destroyed. At night, 20 residents were evacuated from the damaged building

As of noon, search and rescue operations have been completed. KARS began to disassemble the emergency elements of the house. Damaged cars of residents are taken out of the yard. Also, the commission is already examining the degree of damage to the building in order to begin work on its restoration as soon as possible.

“In general, as a result of the night attack, one person died, 11 were injured. Of them: 6 people received medical care on an outpatient basis, 5 were hospitalized. Currently, 3 people are in the city’s hospitals,” he said in his message.

Klitschko called on the people of Kyiv not to neglect their own safety, because the probability of air attacks is very high.

“Therefore, I urge the citizens of Kyiv not to neglect their own safety, not to ignore the alarm signals! And do not go out on the balconies and streets to watch how the air defense system works. Because at night, a woman died in a house in the Holosiivskyi district, who went out on the balcony to watch how drones were shot down.” – he said.

We will remind, Russia Kyiv was attacked for the eighteenth time from the beginning of May. The occupiers fired 31 Shaheds, 29 of them were destroyed by anti-aircraft defense. Almost all UAVs were struck on the outskirts of the capital and in the sky of Kyiv.

A fire broke out on the top two floors of a multi-story residential building in the Holosiivsky district of Kyiv due to debris falling on it. Cars were damaged by debris in the Pechersk district. A private house caught fire in Darnytskyi district as a result of falling debris.
