Environment, Urban Planning and Climate Change Minister Murat Kurum shared information about the buildings damaged in the 5.9 earthquake in Düzce.
The Minister Institution announced that nearly 70 damage assessments were made in Düzce.
“As of now, damage assessment studies have been carried out in a total of 4 thousand 316 buildings and 15 thousand independent sections in Düzce,” the institution said.
The institution announced that an emergency demolition decision was taken for 2 buildings in Gölyaka and 4 buildings in the center.
Murat Kurum continued his words as follows:
“We have more than 600 friends who carry out damage assessment work in the field… Our citizens can learn about the damage assessment work we have done so far via ‘e-Devlet’ or ‘hasartespit.csb.gov.tr’. “They can enter their houses. Our citizens whose houses are badly damaged will not be able to enter their homes. For the time being, 10 million liras have been transferred to our municipalities by our General Directorate of Iller Bank. We will be with our citizens in Düzce, as we did in İzmir, Elazığ and Malatya.”
