The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) has issued a written statement on the subject on its official Twitter account.
In the statement, it was warned that there was a clash with heavy weapons, regardless of civilian discrimination between the groups, and that the clashes could lead to greater tensions.
“We call on all Libyan parties to remain calm and protect the peace of the civilian population,” the statement said.
The conflict took place on 14 May.
On 14 May, a clash broke out between armed groups in the Cenzur region for an undetermined reason, and the power plants in the region were damaged.
After the clashes, Deputy Chairman of the Libyan Presidential Council Abdullah al-Lafi met with Prime Minister Dibeybe and Chief of General Staff Mohammed al-Haddad.
