Former Turkish MP Tayyar called Zelensky a ‘stupid comedian’
Shamil Tayyar, a former member of the Turkish parliament from the ruling Justice and Development Party, commented on the words of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about Russian tourists in Turkey. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the politician’s social networks.
According to him, the Ukrainian leader was “offended by Turkey” because of the Russians on holiday. He said that Zelensky was talking “nonsense” and called him a “stupid comedian.”
Earlier it was reported that Zelensky was offended by Turkey due to the fact that the country continues to receive Russian tourists. According to him, on the one hand, Turkey acts as a mediator and supports Ukraine. “On the other hand, we see, for example, the preparation of tourist routes at the same time. Especially for Russian tourism,” he said.
