The former US leader is scheduled to appear in court in Miami on June 13.
Donald Trump, the 45th president of the United States, was indicted on 7 counts in the case of possession of classified documents.
This is the first time in the country’s history that a former president has been indicted federally, according to reports CNN citing own sources.
The former president is scheduled to appear in court in Miami on Tuesday, June 13. At the same time, he denies that he has committed a crime and blames everything on “Biden’s corrupt government.”
According to Jim Trusty, Trump’s lawyer, he was charged with espionage, obstruction of justice, destruction or falsification of records, conspiracy and making false statements.
As a reminder, this is not the only court case against Trump – there are at least 5 investigations – related to election violations, financial fraud, incitement to storm the Capitol and improper storage of classified documents.
In April, a New York court accused Trump, 76, of secretly paying porn star Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about their affair.
