The police custody of the man suspected of having killed his ex-wife and their two children, found dead Thursday in Dreux (Eure-et-Loir), has been extended until Monday, announced the parquet floor of Chartres, Sunday May 28. “New hearings of the detainee must indeed be carried outadds the parquet floor of Chartres. As it stands, the latter claims to be a stranger to the criminal facts on which he is questioned by the investigators, in the presence of a lawyer.

The man was arrested late Saturday morning in Plaisir (Yvelines). He was then taken into custody and transferred to the Orleans police station. He is heard there by the investigators of the judicial police on facts of “aggravated intentional homicides”. The man is believed to have carried “about forty shots” knife to his ex-spouse, and a dozen on each child. The autopsies of the three bodies are planned “early week in Rouen”added the prosecution.
