Travels sold out at Easter and summer with reinforced offer

The announcement of the easing of restrictions related to the pandemic, just over a week ago, kicked off the reservations and pre-bookings of travel by the Portuguese.

Even with modest operations for Easter, operators already have very few vacancies for the existing offer, especially with regard to departures on April 9. The summer is already starting to have demand and operations can be expanded. The Portuguese islands and the Algarve, here, the Spanish islands and the Mediterranean destinations, as well as the “best-seller” Cape Verde, abroad, are the destinations of choice.

February is the month par excellence for the Portuguese to book holidays at cheaper prices, says Nuno Anjos, commercial director of the operator Viajar Tours, noting that, this year, most of the movements started “after the announcement of the easing of restrictions”.
