Power outages are possible due to shelling.
In Ukraine, on February 27, Ukrenergo did not set power supply limits, but blackout schedules will operate in those regions where networks are damaged.
About this are reported at DTEK
“The next day, Ukrenergo did not limit the consumption of electricity. This allows us not to turn off the lights in Kyiv, Kyiv, Odesa, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. However, due to damage to Ukrenergo’s networks in some power stations, scheduled outages are possible if electricity consumption increases.” – the message says.
We will remind you that Ukraine has so far been able to manage without widespread power outages, but the situation may soon change even without Russian shelling. The fact is that energy workers need to prepare for the next winter period, and therefore scheduled repairs are possible at NPP power units.
