There are still thousands of flu shots to be given

Almost 2.6 million immunized. Pulmonologist defends vaccination against the circulation of the virus.

In the current flu season, Portugal guaranteed the largest contingent of vaccines ever, ensuring 2.924 million doses. Of which, currently, more than 300 thousand will still be available for administration.

Despite the approach of spring, for pulmonologist Filipe Froes, vaccination continues to make sense, due to the uncertainty of flu activity, with an increasing trend. Especially since, he warns, if vaccines are not used, they will go to waste.
