Now they have to pay tens of thousands of dollars to the Serbian budget.
In Serbia, an Austrian-flagged ship with a Ukrainian crew tried to illegally transport more than 12,600 liters of oil. Violators were exposed during customs control at the Veliko Hradishte checkpoint.
The so-called ballast tanks, which had to be filled with water to maintain the ship’s balance, were filled with oil. informs press service of the Customs Administration of Serbia.
Now the violators have to pay three million dinars (25.6 thousand euros) to the Serbian budget. This is the sum of the cost of smuggling and the fine.
Earlier we reported that the authorities of the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation stated that an unmanned aerial vehicle allegedly attacked the territory of the Novozybkiv oil pumping station owned by Transneft. Electricity had to be cut off in a number of settlements.
