The tree that fell on the railway in Sakarya disrupted the transportation

The tree, which fell due to the strong wind that increased its effect at night, broke off some of the electric wires and fell on the train tracks of the Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD).

While transportation to the existing line was temporarily stopped, police and firefighters were sent to the region upon notice.

Police teams took security measures in the surrounding area by pulling the safety strip. The fallen tree was later removed by the fire department after the power was cut off.

Transportation on the line will return to normal once the railway maintenance teams complete their work.
