In the Khabarovsk Territory, the Amur tiger gnawed off a worker’s hand
In the Khabarovsk Territory, an Amur tiger attacked a worker and bit off his hand. This was reported by the source of Izvestia.
According to him, the predator practically tore the Russian’s arm, in connection with which he was taken to the regional hospital No. 1 named after Sergeev, where his arm was urgently amputated.
It is not reported exactly where the tiger attacked the man. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
This is not the first time a tiger has attacked people in the Khabarovsk Territory. In February, the tiger attacked two young hunters. Then the predator came across a hunting lodge, broke the window and attacked the men who were there, one of whom killed the tiger with a gun. One of the hunters was torn off by a tiger in the back – the predator was thin and hungry at the time of the attack.
Before that, in the remote area of the Sovetsko-Gavansky district, the body of a hunter torn to pieces by a tiger was found. The victim was a resident of Sakhalin – he came to the Russian region for hunting.
Amur tigers, whose attacks on people and animals in the Khabarovsk Territory have become more frequent, are listed in the International Red Book. These predators in Russia live, in addition to the Khabarovsk Territory, in the Amur Region, Primorsky Territory and the Jewish Autonomous Region.
