State Duma deputy Ivlev called verbiage Reznikov’s words about Kyiv’s counteroffensive
The words of the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov about Kyiv’s plans to organize a counteroffensive are verbiage. This, in response to the words of the minister, was stated by State Duma deputy from the Crimean region Leonid Ivlev, he is quoted by RIA Novosti.
Reznikov has previously said that Kyiv’s counter-offensive will be conducted in different directions, stressing that the Leopard tanks received by Ukraine will act in this. The Minister of Defense of Ukraine pointed out the importance of determining the most appropriate moment for a counteroffensive.
“No normal military leader will ever reveal plans for a military operation. Therefore, the statement of the Minister of Defense Reznikov is some kind of verbiage, an attempt to mislead the Russian troops, ”said the parliamentarian.
He also saw in Reznikov’s words an attempt to probe for weaknesses in the Russian defense and take Russia “weakly”. During a military conflict, not only fighting is important, but also “who changes their minds,” Ivlev said, stressing that by this he means preparing the direction of the main attack, forming battle formations, and pulling up equipment, ammunition and reserves.
Earlier, the assistant to the head of Chechnya, the commander of the Akhmat special forces, Apti Alaudinov, called the possible counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) the last for Kyiv, since the enemy no longer has manpower.
