Deputy Nilov said that the Liberal Democratic Party intends to introduce a certificate for a newborn child
The Liberal Democratic Party has developed a bill on the introduction of certificates for a newborn child, which will be provided to families with incomes below two subsistence levels. This was stated by the deputy head of the LDPR faction in the State Duma Yaroslav Nilov in his Telegram channel.
“A stroller, a crib, a changing table, the first educational toys, and so on – at the choice of parents – are the concern of the state from the first days of a baby’s life,” the official said.
It is noted that the nominal value of the certificate will be set by the government annually based on the average prices for Russian-made goods for a newborn.
Information on the appointment and provision of the certificate will be posted in the Unified State Social Security Information System.
Earlier it became known about the bill, under which members of the Federation Council and deputies called for the introduction of a new type of state support for low-income families in the form of a certificate for newborns with a face value of about 30 thousand rubles.
