Tonight, the enemy again attacked the territory of Ukraine, using Iranian strike UAVs of the “Shahed” type. Information regarding the consequences of this attack is currently being clarified.

Over the past day, the Russian occupiers launched a missile and air strike on the territory of Ukraine, using 2 Kalibr cruise missiles, 1 Iskander-M ballistic missile and 20 Iranian Shahed attack UAVs. As a result of the successful combat operations of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, 2 Kalibr cruise missiles and 20 attack drones were destroyed. Also, the enemy carried out 52 airstrikes and carried out about 50 attacks from the anti-aircraft guns on the positions of the Ukrainian troops and populated areas. Civilians, including children, were injured, residential buildings and other civil and administrative infrastructure were destroyed.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on the Kupyansk, Lymansk, Bakhmutsk, Avdiivsk and Marinsk directions, heavy battles continue. About 30 combat clashes took place during the day.

• On the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions the enemy carried out an airstrike in the Veterinary district of the Kharkiv region. He carried out mortar and artillery shelling of more than 15 settlements: Kamin, Chernihiv region; Pokrovka, Ryasne, Velyka Pysarivka of the Sumy region and Muravske, Oliynikove, Riznikove, Bologivka of the Kharkiv region.
• On the Kupyansk direction Ukrainian soldiers are firmly holding the defense. The enemy launched airstrikes in the Kislivka and Kotlyarivka areas. Stroivka, Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kupyansk of the Kharkiv region were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar attacks.
• On the Lymansky direction the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives east of Nevsky in the Luhansk region and east of Terni in Donetsk region. He carried out airstrikes in the districts of Nevsky and Bilogorivka in the Luhansk region and Spirnyi in the Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements were hit by artillery fire: Nevske, Bilogorivka in Luhansk Oblast, and Torske, Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka in Donetsk Oblast.
• In the direction of Bakhmut Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled all enemy attacks in the Berkhivka area. More than 15 settlements, in particular, Vasyukivka, Chasiv Yar, Oleksandro-Shultine, Diliivka, and North of Donetsk region, were affected by artillery fire.
• In the Avdiiv direction Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled attacks by Russian troops in the Pervomaysky area. The enemy carried out an airstrike near Avdiyivka, and also carried out artillery fire on more than 10 settlements, in particular, Berdychi, Stepove and Avdiyvka of the Donetsk region.
• On the Marinsky direction Defense forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the Maryinka area. The enemy shelled more than 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, and Georgiivka in the Donetsk region.
• On the Shakhtarsky direction the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the Novomykhailivka area. He carried out an air strike near Makarivka and shelled the settlements of Paraskoviivka, Novomykhailivka, Novoukrainka, Storozheve, Blagodatne and Makarivka in the Donetsk region.
• On the Zaporizhia and Kherson directions the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing the further advance of Ukrainian troops. He carried out airstrikes in the areas of Priyutne, Rivnopil, Mala Tokmachka, Orihiv, Malokaterinivka of the Zaporizhia region and Kozatske of the Kherson region. He carried out artillery shelling of more than 20 settlements, among them – Novodarivka, Malynivka, Gulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Biloghirya, Orihiv of the Zaporizhzhia region; Zolota Balka, Mykhailivka, Antonivka, Chornobayivka, Kizomys of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson. At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, are entrenched at the reached boundaries, inflict fire damage with artillery on identified enemy targets, and carry out counter-battery countermeasures.

Over the past day, the aviation of the defense forces has struck 8 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and 2 – on the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile systems.

Missile troops and artillery units struck an area of ​​concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, 2 ammunition depots, 10 artillery pieces in firing positions, 3 anti-aircraft defenses, a counter-battery radar station, an electronic warfare station and another important enemy target.
