The Russians are trying to reach the borders of Donetsk region: the Ministry of Defense told about the epicenter of the fighting

The Russian occupiers do not stop trying to enter the administrative borders of Donetsk region. Currently in the district Bakhmut and Soledar, intense fighting continues. The most difficult section of the front is the Donetsk direction.

“We see that the epicenter of this week is Bakhmut and Soledar – in general, the Donetsk direction,” says Malyar.

“It is happening so dynamically that when we summarize and analyze in a day, the main thing is that Ukraine does not surrender a single centimeter of land. But the process that is taking place is an active attempt by the enemy to reach the borders of the Donetsk region, the fighting there continues fiercely.” – emphasizes the deputy of the Ministry of Defense.

Now the main task of the Armed Forces, says Malyar, is to stabilize the liberated territories and prepare for further offensive. In addition, it is important to gain a foothold in the de-occupied territories.
