Everyone can reduce the number and duration of power outages by minimizing their use.
As a result of the Russian missile attacks, the energy system of Ukraine has experienced unprecedented destruction, and this is why stabilization and emergency power outages are necessary.
About this reported at DTEK Kyiv Electric Networks.
“To prevent large-scale and complex accidents on networks, NEC “Ukrenergo” must balance the energy system. For this, stabilization and emergency shutdowns are required,” the statement reads.
They emphasized that each Ukrainian can reduce the number and duration of power outages by minimizing their use.
“Unplug all appliances that are not in use at the moment, and turn on the energy-intensive ones in turn. Even with such simple actions, you will support the Ukrainian energy industry. All of us are the energy front! Let’s hold on!” explained DTEK.
We would like to remind you that throughout Ukraine on November 17, schedules of hourly power outages will be applied, as well as emergency outages. This was preceded by massive missile strikes by the Russian occupiers on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine on November 15.
Note that already on November 17, Russia launched a missile attack on an infrastructure object in the Odesa region.
On the same day, the invaders staged a massive attack on the gas production infrastructure of JSC “Ukrgazvydobuvannya” in the east of Ukraine.
It should be noted that the period of power outages in Ukraine may double – up to six to eight hours at a time due to enemy attacks. Energy market analyst Maksym Bilyavskyi warned about this.
