On Monday, March 27, the Parliament of Hungary voted for Finland’s accession to NATO. The decision was supported by 182 out of 188 parliamentarians.

“The Parliament of Hungary voted for Finland’s accession to NATO. We will protect them, and they will protect us – this is a serious commitment that both sides have,” he said.
We will remind, pTurkish resident Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that his country would ratify the protocol on Finland’s accession to NATO separately from Sweden. Subsequently, Hungary also adopted a corresponding decision. Earlier, the Turkish leader said that the state will not make a decision on NATO expansion.
We also reported that Finnish President Sauli Niinisto believes that Finland and Sweden will participate in the July summit of the Alliance in Vilnius as full NATO members.
