The new Ukrainian reconnaissance drone will be shown in Turkey: technical characteristics

At the International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF), which will be held from July 25 to 28 in Istanbul, the Ukrainian aerospace company Ukrspecsystems will present a new model of reconnaissance drone – Mini Shark.

The drone was created taking into account the wishes of aerial scouts from units of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine. It can detect ground targets in the interests of artillery, special units and parts of the ground forces.

The developers emphasize that one of the advantages of the new drone is hand-held launch and easy transportation. The entire system fits easily in two backpacks.

The drone with a wingspan of 2.6 meters and a length of 125 cm has a maximum take-off weight of up to 5 kg, the duration of its flight is 2 hours.

The radius of use of the MiniShark UAV reaches 30 km. It is equipped with a Full HD camera that has 10x optical zoom and the ability to track targets.

The company claims that the maximum flight speed is 120 km/h, the operating altitude is 1000 meters. During operation, the drone can withstand temperatures from -15 °C to +45 °C.
