Ukrainians face responsibility for trying to hand over explosives to scrap metal. As well as for their use for criminal purposes.
There are already many deaths and injuries in Ukraine mines and explosives during field work – mostly in Kyiv and Chernihiv regions.
This was stated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“Some citizens try to hand over explosive devices for scrap metal or even use them for criminal purposes. I remind you that such actions are unacceptable, dangerous and severely punished by law enforcement agencies,” Interior Ministry spokeswoman Olena Matveeva said at a briefing.
She urged Ukrainians to visit only those places in nature that are guaranteed to be tested by pyrotechnics. Matveeva reminded that in no case should explosive objects be approached, let alone touched, and if detected, call 101 and 102 immediately.
