On July 4, the heart of the former midfielder of the Polish national football team, Janusz Kupcevich, stopped beating.
Famous Polish football player died at the age of 66 years.
Sad news on his Twitter reported Zbigniew Bonek is a former partner of Kupcevich in the national team and ex-chairman of the Polish Football Union.
The causes of Kuptsevich’s death remain unknown.
During his career, Kuptsevych played for the Polish “Arka”, “Lech”, “Lehia”, the French “Saint-Etienne”, the Greek “Larisa” and the Turkish “Adanaspor”.
He played 20 matches for the Polish national team and scored 5 goals. As part of the Polish national team, Janusz won the “bronze” of the 1982 World Championship – in the match for the third place, the Poles defeated France (3:2), and the decisive goal was scored by Kuptsewicz.
