20 11th grade students studying in the school’s food and beverage services department both learn to cook with master trainers and contribute to their family budgets.
Provincial Director of National Education Mehmet Emin Akkurt told reporters that their aim is to deliver hot and fresh food to students.
Explaining that the prepared meals are delivered to 21 transportation centers, Akkurt said, “We strive to deliver the meals to our students in the warmest and healthiest way possible. In this way, our students with transportation find healthy meals, while our vocational high school students find a good practice area.” said.
Akkurt noted that free food is delivered to approximately 3,000 students in Kilis at the moment.
