Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council Kosachev noted the continuity in the elections in Turkey
Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev believes that in the presidential elections in Turkey, the citizens of the country preferred continuity instead of unpredictability. The senator wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
“Apparently, in the choice between continuity and unpredictability, Turkish voters, with a fairly confident majority and, no less important, with a strong turnout, preferred the first,” Kosachev said, calling continuity the word of the day.
According to him, this choice is important not only for Turkey, but also for Russia, and, consequently, for the whole world.
Earlier, the leader of the opposition Good Party, which is in an alliance with Kemal Kılıçdaroglu, Meral Akşener said that the opposition accepts the results of the elections in Turkey and will learn the lessons. At the same time, Kilicdaroglu himself called the last presidential election one of the most unfair periods in the history of the country.
After counting 99.08 percent of the ballots, it became known that 52.07 percent of voters voted for the current president of Turkey. Opposition representative Kemal Kılıçdaroglu received 47.93 percent of the vote.
